Jason Aldean is bringing a little country to Fenway Park in 2013, and the public couldn't be happier.
Just how happy are New England's country music fans for the big show next July? Record-breaking happiness, if there's such a thing.
Thet CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee made history last week when he announced he’d be the first country act a Fenway Park and this week, his July 13 show became the fastest concert sell out in Fenway Park history.
"Since Jason’s surprise appearance at Fenway Park last week, the reaction over the show has been unprecedented," says Dave Marsden, senior vice president of booking for Live Nation. "So were ticket sales…this was the fastest sellout of all the shows Fenway Park has hosted."
"We are thrilled that Jason Aldean has sold out his July 13th concert at Fenway Park," says Red Sox EVP/COO Sam Kennedy. “The excitement surrounding this show has reached a fever pitch and we look forward to welcoming Jason Aldean and the country music fans of New England to Fenway Park this summer."
