Marc Savard Not Planning Comeback in ‘Foreseeable Future’ but Still Hopes for Return to Ice

Lockout or no, it does not look like Marc Savard will be playing hockey again any time soon.

The Bruins center, who has been sidelined since 2011 due to post-concussion symptoms, wrote a message on his Twitter feed Monday updating fans on his progress. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much.

Savard also expressed a desire to continue to give back to the sport, but the road back appears to be daunting. Savvy noted that he felt "like crap" trying to work out on Monday, and had previously mentioned that he was still experiencing headaches.

The 35-year-old suffered a concussion in 2010 when blindsided with a vicious hit by Matt Cooke and was concussed again the next season.
