Just when things were looking up for the Bruins, their first-round series against the Canadiens shifted back to Montreal.
Flying high after a double-overtime victory in Game 5, the B's headed north with a chance to win the series, and thus become the first Bruins team ever to win a seven-game set after falling behind 0-2. Despite previous success in the Bell Centre earlier in the series, the Habs were not prepared to give up their season easily.
Led by goaltender Carey Price and forward Brian Gionta, the Canadiens put forth their best effort at sending the series back to Boston for a decisive winner-take-all Game 7.
