Report: Dwayne Bowe Wants to Be Traded From Kansas City As Trade Deadline Looms

A legitimate No. 1 wide receiver could be on the block before the Oct. 30 trade deadline.

Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole reported today that Dwayne Bowe wants to be traded by the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are tied for a league-worst 1-5 record on the season. Bowe leads the team with 34 receptions for 423 yards and three touchdowns.

While the wide receiver-shallow Dolphins present a logical landing point for Bowe, Cole also tweeted that there have been no talks between the two teams regarding the star receiver. Bowe signed a one-year, $9.5 million contract with the Chiefs back in August, so issues over future money owed should not be a problem.

With a 3-3 record — tied for first in the AFC East — and no solid No. 1 options for rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, the addition of Bowe would make a significant one for Miami's playoff hopes.
