Tom Brady Says He Appreciates Bianca Wilfork’s Texts, Critiques of Patriots’ Performance

The New England sideline got plenty of love from CBS on Sunday afternoon.

If it wasn’t Tom Brady letting everyone know what he thought of his rushing touchdown (or looking for his missing helmet), it was Bianca Wilfork cheering and texting away.

CBS analysts Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf filled listeners in on Bianca Wilfork’s involvement with the team, explaining that she likes to text her husband, Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork, throughout the game — whether he can do anything with the text messages or not. She fires off responses during the game to him and his Patriots teammates, leaving them plenty to look over when the game is done.

Brady was asked Monday on WEEI whether he’s ever used those texts to help him out during a game, and Brady seemed to agree with the assessment that Bianca Wilfork knows what she’s talking about.

“That works for Vince, obviously,” Brady said. “What an incredible player he is. And Bianca does know football. She always lets me know what we needed to do after the game, so I appreciate that, too.”

While Brady may not have been checking what Bianca Wilfork said during Sunday’s game, he seemed to have received the message loud and clear by the time the 52-28 romp was finished.
