Red Sox Welcome Trick-or-Treaters to Fenway Park to Celebrate Halloween at 100-Year-Old Ballpark (Photos)

Fenway Park has been around for 100 years, and it is a favorite haunt of many Boston sports fans. For one night, however, it took on a more haunted feel, with the ballpark opening its doors on Halloween night.

The Red Sox welcomed trick-or-treaters inside America’s most beloved ballpark as part of the team’s 100 Acts of Kindness in 2012.

Third baseman Will Middlebrooks joined Red
Sox alumni Ted Lepcio, Rich Gedman, Frank Malzone, and Bob
Montgomery to meet fans and sign autographs, with Wally the Green Monster joining the fun as well.

Kids were welcome to trick-or-treat around the warning track and decorate pumpkins, with balloon artists, face painters and magicians also on hand to add to the fun.
