The NHL may be locked out right now, but that didn’t stop Claude Julien, Peter Chiarelli and other members of the Boston Bruins’ front office from spreading some holiday cheer with the team’s annual Holiday Toy Delivery.

The Bruins’ head coach and general manager visited Boston Children’s Hospital on Wednesday to drop off toys to children. Other members of the Bruins staff visited Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, Franciscan Hospital for Children, MassGeneral Hospital for Children, Shriners Hospital for Children and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

The Boston Bruins Foundation, Delaware North Companies and Garden Neighborhood Charities donated $22,500 to pay for the toys. The event was originally started by Ray Bourque when he was playing with the Bruins, and it has continued since.

Check out the pictures below of Julien, Chiarelli, NESN’s Naoko Funayama and others Bruins staff members at the event.
