Hamilton isn’t alone in conquering the league at a young age, though. There is more more young talent in the NHL right now there has been in seemingly a long time, and Hamilton is just one of many. If you look across the NHL, whether it’s Justin Schultz and Nail Yakupov in Edmonton or Cory Canacher and Vladimir Tarasenko making waves in Tampa Bay and St. Louis, respectively, rookies are chipping in across the NHL map.
It’s a fan’s dream, of course, but it won’t make things easy for those who have to vote on the Calder Trophy come season’s end.
