Jonathan Ericsson Says He Was Thanked After Scoring Game-Winner by Linesman Who ‘Had to Pee’

The Detroit Red Wings and Los Angeles Kings played one of the most exciting games of the young NHL season Sunday, and it left some hockey fans wishing the game would go to overtime.

At least one person on the ice was just fine with the Red Wings winning the game on a Jonathan Ericsson goal with just 4.5 seconds left to play in Detroit.

That would be one of the linesmen, who was hoping the game would end so he could answer nature’s call. The linesman had to go so bad, in fact, that Ericsson received thanks from the official.
