Report: Jordan Crawford Traded to Celtics for Jason Collins, Leandro Barbosa’s Expiring Contract

It’s been a quiet trade deadline, but the Celtics are finally showing some life on Thursday.

Jordan Crawford was traded to the Celtics for Leandro Barbosa and Jason Collins, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Crawford is averaging 13.2 points, 3.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game this season. He has been benched since playing six minutes on Feb. 6 against the Knicks.

Crawford was the Nets’ No. 27 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft out of Xavier. He was traded to the Hawks before his rookie season, then came to Washington at the 2011 trade deadline. He’s a career .400 shooter and .299 on 3-pointers.

Barbosa has an expiring contract coming off the books next season. He tore his ACL on Feb. 11. Collins is averaging 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game. The center has played in 32 games this season.
