Report: Charles Woodson Drawing Interest From Seahawks, Dolphins, Jets, Giants

Charles Woodson is free to sign with any NFL team after getting released from the Packers on Feb. 15. He’s already drawing a lot of interest on the open market.

The Seahawks, Dolphins, Jets and Giants have all called to discuss Woodson, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.com.

Woodson moved from cornerback to safety in 2012, his 15th season in the league. The eight-time Pro Bowler and seven-time All-Pro sat out half the season with a broken collarbone.

Teams could be looking at Woodson as a potential slot cornerback. He played 61 snaps in that role, according to Pro Football Focus. He allowed five receptions on 10 targets for 83 yards.

Woodson was drafted by the Raiders with the No. 5 overall pick in 1998 out of Michigan. He played with the Packers from 2006 to 2012.
