Before the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls even tipped off in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs, Jerry Stackhouse brought down the house.

Stackhouse, who has showcased his vocal abilities before, sang an impressive rendition of the national anthem. The 6-foot-6 Nets forward pumped up Brooklyn with his pregame festivities and proved once again that his skills extend far past what the 38-year-old can do on the court.

Watch Stackhouse belt out “The Star-Spangled Banner” below.

Stackhouse’s attempt at the “The Star-Spangled Banner” was much more successful than the most infamous athlete to try the national anthem before a Nets game.
