Michael Jordan was married for the second time over the weekend, and he did so as extravagantly as possible.
The NBA legend wed his longtime Cuban-American model girlfriend, Yvette Prieto, on Saturday in front of 500 guests at a Palm Beach, Fla. church. Jordan and Prieto then took the festivities to a 40,000-square foot tent at the Bears Club in Jupiter, Fla., with 1,500 of the couple’s closest friends, according to HollywoodLife.com.
Among the guests at the reception were Tiger Woods, Scottie Pippen and Patrick Ewing. The tent the event was held at was even bigger than Jordan’s new 38,000-square foot home.
Jordan proposed to Prieto during Christmas 2011. He divorced his wife, Juanita, in 2006 after 16 years of marriage.
