Vote: Which Bruins Rookie Most Deserves to Play in Game 2 If All Defensemen Are Healthy?

The Bruins were thought to be in big trouble when injury kept Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference and Wade Redden out of Game 1 of Boston’s Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Rangers. Those worries proved unfounded, though, as a trio of rookies filling in on the blue line far exceeded expectations in a 3-2 overtime win.

Now, B’s coach Claude Julien has some decisions to make. There is a chance that all three of the usual defensemen may be healthy enough to suit up for Game 2 on Sunday, which may send Dougie Hamilton, Matt Bartkowski and Torey Krug back to the land of the healthy scratches.

But even if the team is back to full strength, do the young guns deserve another chance to suit up? All three played well on Thursday, with Krug scoring his first NHL goal, Hamilton added an assist and Bartkowski clocked a career-high 26:42 of ice time.

Assuming everyone is healthy, which of the rookies has made the best case to start over a veteran in Game 2? Voice your opinion in the poll below.
