Heart-Stopping Play From Double-Overtime Instant Classic Captured in Best Images From Game 3 (Photos)

The Bruins and Penguins might not have looked very evenly matched through the first two games of the Eastern Conference finals, but that changed in a big way for Game 3.

The two teams needed double overtime to determine a winner, where Patrice Bergeron beat Tomas Vokoun to stake Boston to a 3-0 series lead after one of the most hard-fought victories in recent memory.

In a game full of momentum swings and heart-stopping action, the Bruins were somehow, someway able to emerge victorious in the end. Physical play ruled the contest, and it was anyone’s game for much of the night, but now the B’s can start thinking about a sweep.
