Report: Aaron Hernandez Being Sued by Man Who Says Patriots Player Shot Him in Face

In some interesting timing, Aaron Hernandez was sued earlier this week by a man who said Hernandez shot him in the face after an altercation at a Miami strip club, according to reports.

Alexander S. Bradley filed a lawsuit against the Patriots tight end June 13, according to TMZ. The two were leaving Tootsie’s Cabaret in the same car Feb. 13 when Bradley said Hernandez pointed a gun at him. Bradley said the gun discharged, injuring his face.

Bradley says he lost his right eye during the incident and needed major surgery to reconstruct his face. He said his right hand and arm were also damaged. Bradley also claims Hernandez did not have a license to carry the weapon.

The case was dismissed four days after the lawsuit was filed. TMZ reports that “all signs point to a settlement.”

Greg Bedard of Sports Illustrated confirms the lawsuit is real. He also says the matter is unresolved. TerezOwens.com received a tip in April that Hernandez had been linked to a shooting. Justia.com has a docket on the case.
