Stephen Jackson Admits ‘It Felt Good to Punch a Fan’ During Malice at the Palace (Video)

Stephen Jackson has been around for quite some time, so it should come as no surprise that he has a few great stories up his sleeve.

The 35-year-old Spurs forward was a guest on Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable this week and spoke about his loyalty, his rough upbringing, playing with Ron Artest and one of the darkest days in NBA history, the “Malice at the Palace.”

Jackson was a 26-year-old in just his fifth year in the league when the brawl between the Pacers, Pistons and fans broke out in Detroit. Looking back at it, Jackson offered some funny yet controversial thoughts on the melee, and he doesn’t seem to feel too guilty about what he did.

“All the racial slurs I done heard,” he explained. “All the things I heard about my mom, and my basketball game and my kids, all this. It felt good to punch a fan one time.”

Check out his Malice at the Palace thoughts below, which start around the 3:40 mark.
