Tim Tebow Is ‘Talented Player That’s Smart and Works Hard,’ Bill Belichick Says

FOXBORO, Mass. — Bill Belichick has faced the Tim Tebow circus and he’s handling the new signal caller just like any other player on the Patriots roster.

Belichick was faced with countless Tebow questions and didn’t give out much information. The most he had to say is that Tebow is a “talented player that’s smart and works hard.”

Belichick saw the media conglomerate and walked in smiling to the news conference. He said the team signed Tebow because “anything we do is what we feel is in the best interest of the team.”

When asked if Belichick would mind if the Heisman winner “Tebowed,” Belichick said, “We’ve already talked enough about him.”

The Patriots will practice on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll see what position Tebow plays and what number he wears.
