The Red Sox’ lineup is nearly back to full strength.
Shane Victorino is back after a day off on Sunday and Will Middlebrooks has returned after a stint on the 15-day disabled list. The only piece missing is Mike Napoli, who has a day off after finding himself in a slump for the past week. In the past six games, Napoli is 3-for-21 and without an extra-base hit.
Mike Carp, who has heated back up after a down month of May, will take Napoli’s place at first base. Carp is batting .455 in June with a 1.455 OPS. He has hit three home runs and driven in seven runs in just six starts.
