Aaron Hernandez Photo Removed from Pro Football Hall of Fame After Visitors Complain

Each year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame holds an annual photo contest, and the winning entry receives a spot among football royalty in the museum. The winner of the 2010 contest was a picture of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez high-stepping while scoring a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.

A lot has happened since those football glory days for Hernandez, though, as he is now facing charges for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

The Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio has now decided to take that photo down after it received complaints, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

“In the spirit of good taste we thought we’d take it down,” Joe Horrigan, vice president of communication and exhibits at the Hall of Fame said.
