Anna Benson Arrested After Storming Into Estranged Ex-MLB Husband Kris Benson’s Home With Gun, Bulletproof Vest

Things got a little too real in the lives of reality star Anna Benson and her ex-MLB husband, Kris.

Anna, who appeared on the reality TV show Baseball Wives, was arrested in Georgia on Monday morning after storming into Kris’ apartment brandishing a gun and a metal baton, all while wearing a bulletproof vest, according to a report from TMZ.

Kris, who filed for divorce from Anna in 2012, called police after his estranged wife showed up at his home Sunday night and threatened him with a metal baton, according to a report from police. After threatening to hit Kris, Anna pulled out a gun and demanded money. In an odd twist, it seems as though Anna was prepared for a retaliation to her assault, because she was wearing a bulletproof vest at the time of the incident.

Anna was arrested Monday morning and booked on four counts — two counts of felony aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of felony trespass and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Kris pitched for the Mets, Orioles, Pirates, Rangers and Diamondbacks during his 11-season career. He retired in 2010.
