Antonio Morrison Suspended for at Least Two Games by University of Florida After Arrest for Barking at Police Dog

The consequences keep coming for University of Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison.

First, Morrison was reportedly arrested Saturday night for barking at a police dog and resisting arrest without violence. Now, he has been suspended from Florida and will miss at least two games at the start of the season, his head coach Will Muschamp announced on Sunday.

Morrison was also reportedly arrested in June after a dispute at a nightclub, according to Deadspin.

The 6-foot-1, 229 pound sophomore out of Bolingbrook, Ill., made three starts and appeared in 13 games for the Gators last season. He made 34 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble, which helped earn him a spot on the SEC Coaches All-Freshman team.

The two games that Morrison will be suspended for are a home game against Toledo to open the season, followed by a nationally televised road game at Miami the following week.
