Chandler Jones, Justin Houston, Alshon Jeffery Among Potential Breakout Stars for Every NFL Team in 2013 (Photos)

While it can be difficult to predict which players will breakout every season, it’s not impossible.

No one saw J.J. Watt‘s 20 1/2-sack season coming in 2012, but a strong rookie year gave hints that kind of season might be coming. A player’s second year in the league can be make or break. Watt, Richard Sherman, Von Miller and Aldon Smith all became premier players in the NFL, while others, like Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker and Christian Ponder, had some doubting if they’ll be able to make it in the league.

Among this year’s group of second-year players that could break out are Chandler Jones, Mark Barron and Bobby Wagner. Those players could go from dependable starters to Pro Bowlers in the course of an offseason. And their rookie years make us believe that’s a distinct possibility.

There are some veteran players that have shown the signs of breaking out over the years, as well. If Kenny Britt can finally stay out of trouble, he could emerge as one of the best wide receivers in the league. Chris Ivory and Marcel Reece could become breakout stars if they’re finally given enough touches to shine.

We’ve gone though every NFL team to name their potential breakout star of 2013. Check out the list by clicking the link below.
