Jonny Gomes Gets Hit With Gatorade Bath After Walk-Off Home Run (GIF)

Jonny Gomes gave the Red Sox yet another walk-off win Wednesday night, and his teammates celebrated accordingly.

During Gomes’ postgame interview, Shane Victorino doused the pinch hitter with the ceremonial Gatorade bath, soaking NESN’s Jamie Erdahl in the process. Batting in place of third baseman Brandon Snyder in the bottom of the ninth, Gomes launched Luke Gregerson‘s hanging slider over the Green Monster, allowing the Sox to walk off with a 2-1 victory.
