Major League Soccer has done a good job slowly building its brand and infrastructure since its first season in 1996. However, if it’s looking for a model of lightning-fast growth, the league need look no further than its musical guest Monday night.
The MLS All-Star Game is on Wednesday in Kansas City, Mo., but the festivities really kicked off on Monday. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis showed up at the city’s Power & Light District, an area of town known for entertainment. Suffice it to say, this was a pretty big get for MLS.
