Predators’ Rich Clune Requests Permission to Fly Team Plane in List of Ridiculous Contract Demands (Photo)

Rich Clune signed a two-year, $1.7 million contract extension with Nashville on Wednesday, but the deal would have been a whole lot more fun if the Predators had met the eccentric winger’s initial demands.

On Thursday, Clune tweeted a photo of his original contract requests, which range from permission to fly the team jet to having the city of Dallas erect a statue in his honor and bow before it daily.

Dallas also makes a few appearances in Clune’s list of concessions, in which the 26-year-old promises to not tease Stars fans “for their many flaws” or Dallas newcomer Tyler Seguin for “being a dork.” Though Clune, who hails from Ontario, was drafted by the Stars back in 2005, he was traded before making his NHL debut. Apparently, he’s a guy that can hold a grudge.

Check out Clune’s “terms” in the photos below.
