Former Patriots Receiver Donald Jones Retiring From NFL Due to Kidney Disease

Donald Jones is hanging up the cleats after three seasons in the NFL.

The former Patriots receiver announced via Twitter that he’s retiring due to kidney disease. Jones was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State by the Buffalo Bills. He was signed by New England in the offseason, but released before training camp started.
