Giants Wear “B Strong” Patches for Game Against Red Sox, Will Donate Portion of Ticket Revenue to One Fund (Photos)

Before beginning their series with the Red Sox on Monday, the San Francisco Giants took a moment to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.

Bay Area natives Aaron Hern and Amanda North, who were both injured in the bombing, threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and both teams lined up along the baselines while a video tribute to those affected played on the Jumbotron.

In a classy gesture, the Giants also wore the same “B Strong” patches for the game that the Red Sox have been wearing on their home uniforms this season, and the team announced that it will donate a portion of all ticket proceeds to The One Fund.

Check out the patches and images from the pregame ceremony in the photos below.
