Jerry Rice Finally Sells California Mansion After Dropping Asking Price by $13 Million (Photos)

As a Hall of Fame wide receiver, Jerry Rice is used to being on the scoring end of a catch. This week, however, Rice was on the opposite side, and someone else ran away with a score.

Rice’s mansion finally sold this week for $9 million, even though it was listed in 2007 for $22 million, according to Realtor.com. Talk about bargain shopping.

The house in Atherton, Calif., sits on 1.2 acres and has all of the necessities — and some not so necessary features. It has six bedrooms, a sauna, a movie theater and a dog kennel.

But, hey, the dog kennel is probably a big hit with the neighborhood canines.
