Report: Tom Brady ‘Had His Way’ With Philadelphia Defensive Backs in Wednesday’s Patriots-Eagles Joint Practice

If the Patriots allow him to play, Tom Brady may have a career day in Friday’s preseason game against the Eagles.

Brady has dominated the Eagles during team drills in the New England-Philadelphia joint practices, according to PhillyMag.com. Tim McManus wrote, “For the second straight day, Brady had his way.”

“The learning experience is pretty good,” Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said. “He’s obviously one of the great quarterbacks to ever play this game, not just in the league right now. You better be where you’re supposed to be when you’re supposed to be there or he’s going to get you. And that was a great challenge for us. One of the things we were excited about was to come down here and kind of gauge where our guys are.”

Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald charted Brady’s targets. Howe had Brady going 11-of-16 in 1-on-1s, 6-of-8 in 7-on-7sand 20-of-26 in 11-on-11s. On Tuesday, Howe had Brady going 20-for-20 in 1-on-1s and 7-on-7s.
