Google Glass Baseball App Shows Player Information, Pitch Type in Real Time (Video)

This is not meant to be an ad, because above all Google Glass continues to be obnoxious, but its Major League Baseball app looks pretty cool.

The app, called “Blue,” shows pitcher and batter information, pitch type and velocity and other game info in real time to the viewer. All this info is available on scoreboards and video screens around the park, of course, and most fans don’t need special glasses to tell them that a batter takes first base on four balls.

But Blue does away will all that tiresome “turn your head” and “understand the basic rules of the game” stuff.
