Jarrod Saltalamacchia Crushes Grand Slam Over Bullpens During Seventh Inning, Lifts Sox Past Yankees (Video)

The Red Sox earned their 90th win of the season in dramatic fashion — they just don’t know how to do it any other way.

With the game knotted up at four in the seventh inning, the bases were loaded for Jarrod Saltalamachhia. Coming off a home run Thursday night against the Rays, Salty went yard again and drilled a Preston Claiborne fastball over the bullpens in right field. The grand slam marks the third of his career, with his last one coming on May 5, 2009 against the Mariners.
