There was a scary moment at the beginning of the third quarter of the Chargers-Eagles game.
Malcom Floyd was attempting to pull in a Philip Rivers pass on the first play from scrimmage in the second half when DeMeco Ryans delivered a bicep to the receiver’s helmet. Floyd stayed on the turf for several minutes before getting stretchered off the field with his facemask removed. He was taken to a local hospital and has feeling in his limbs, according to CBS’ coverage.
Floyd was having a solid game before the injury. He had five receptions for 102 yards.
