Celtics forward Jared Sullinger is off to a horrible start to his second NBA season, and training camp is still a month away.
FOX25 reports Sullinger turned himself into police Tuesday morning in Waltham, Mass., and was arrested following a domestic situation with his girlfriend over the weekend. According to the FOX25 report, the Boston forward will be charged with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation for an alleged incident that reportedly occurred Saturday night.
The 21-year-old Sullinger played in 45 games last season during his rookie season with the Celtics. He averaged 6.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
