Zach Sudfeld Was Full Participant at Patriots Practice Despite Hamstring Injury, Should Be Able to Play Week 3

FOXBORO, Mass. — It seems like it has  been all bad news on the injury front in New England lately. But Wednesday’s injury report brought a positive spin.

Zach Sudfeld was a full participant despite his injured hamstring. Sudfeld could not play in Thursday’s game with the injury. It’s not quite like getting Rob Gronkowski back, but Sudfeld will bring a receiving threat on Sunday against the Buccaneers at tight end greater than that of Michael Hoomanawanui and Matthew Mulligan.

Matthew Slater (wrist) and Marquice Cole (not injury-related) missed practice on Wednesday. Danny Amendola (groin), Brandon Bolden (knee), Dan Connolly (finger), Nate Ebner (ankle), Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm), Will Svitek (knee) and Leon Washington (thigh) were all limited in practice.

Slater and Connolly are additions to the injury report. Aaron Dobson, Duron Harmon, Alfonzo Dennard and Stevan Ridley were removed from the list.
