Cowboys linebacker Cameron Lawrence was promoted from the practice squad over the weekend and looking to turn some heads against the Redskins.
The rookie from Mississippi State did just that and then some, nearly decapitating Redskins cornerback David Amerson.
Lawrence caught Amerson with his head down and and laid a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit as teammate Dwayne Harris sliced through Washington’s coverage. Despite Amerson (who was concussed on the play) lying motionless on the turf, Lawrence could be seen celebrating the big hit.
