It’s a little too deep into the season for the Dodgers to suddenly adopt a mascot, and the team’s security quickly shut down one furry man’s dreams of making that happen.
During the bottom of the eighth inning, a man in a bear costume and Dodgers jersey jumped on top of the Cardinals’ dugout and attempted to fire up the crowd with his team up 2-0 at the time. The bear didn’t have much time to pump up the crowd however, as the dancing bear was quickly grabbed by security and escorted from the stadium.
The Dodgers lost a mascot on Monday night, but they won Game 3 of the NLCS and now trail 2-1 in the series.
