Michael Jordan Will Make One-Game Comeback With Bobcats, Jalen Rose Says (Video)

Crazier things have happened in the NBA than Michael Jordan making a comeback at 50.

Wait, no they haven’t. It may sound absurd — and it probably is — but Jalen Rose predicts Jordan will make a one-game comeback with the Charlotte Bobcats this season. Even Bill Simmons, his co-host on the Grantland Network video, was astonished at the idea.

“I’ll make a quick prediction for the Bobcats,” Rose said. “Michael Jordan’s coming out of retirement and playing one game this year.

There would be all sorts of hoops for Jordan and the Bobcats to jump through in order to pull this off. First, the NBA would need to temporarily waive its rule barring players from owning part of their own team, or Jordan would have to sell the team for a day or two with the promise he’d be able to buy it back — at which point it would be worth far more than when he sold it, since the team would now have Michael Jordan on the roster.

Whatever is lacking in the feasibility of this idea, at least it is fun to think about. Check out Rose’s bold prediction in the video below.
