Tommy Kelly, Shane Vereen Back at Patriots Practice for Second Straight Day

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots won’t be getting Sebastian Vollmer, Jerod Mayo or Vince Wilfork back, but the rest of the team appears to be getting healthy.

The team had full attendance at practice on Thursday. Tommy Kelly, Leon Washington and Shane Vereen were back for the second straight day. Aqib Talib was on the field in full pads, as well.

Isaac Sopoaga was on the practice field again. New England traded a fifth-round pick for the defensive tackle and a sixth-round pick from the Eagles.

Andre Carter spent last week chatting with Chandler Jones on the practice field. On Thursday, he was jogging next to Michael Buchanan, chatting the rookie up.

It’s no guarantee Kelly or Talib plays this week. They could be held out for one more week, through the bye and return for the Week 11 Panthers game when Vereen is also eligible.
