Blake Leeper is a two-time Paralympic medalist — a collection he’ll look to add to at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The 24-year-old, who was born without the bottom half of his legs and was inspired to race competitively after watching the Paralympics on TV, grew up idolizing Bo Jackson, the two-sport star who also had to fight through a physical disability late in his career.
Leeper described his admiration for Jackson, whom he had met briefly 20 years earlier, during a guest appearance on Arsenio with Arsenio Hall earlier this week — only to be awestruck when Jackson himself strolled onto the stage.
