Cristiano Ronaldo’s Diving Header Gives Portugal 1-0 Win Over Sweden in World Cup Playoff (GIF)

Cristiano Ronaldo is no stranger to pressure.

The  superstar forward has won several trophies throughout his career at the club level with Manchester United and Real Madrid, but one piece of hardware he hasn’t lifted is the World Cup.

With his Portugal team needing to defeat Sweden in a two-leg playoff to reach the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Ronaldo came through in the clutch with a diving header goal that proved to be the difference in Friday’s first leg.

Portugal will travel to Sweden for Tuesday’s second leg.
