Frustrated Tramon Williams Shoves Referee in Packers’ 40-10 Loss to Lions (GIF)

This year’s Thanksgiving was one to forget for the Green Bay Packers, at least on the football field.

The Packers suffered their fourth loss in the last five games on Thursday, falling to the rival Detroit Lions 40-10 at Ford Field. Green Bay passed for only 139 yards, rushed for another 24 yards and committed three turnovers.

The loss drops the Packers to 5-6-1 on the season, which puts them in third place in the NFC North. If star quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t return from a collarbone injury soon, Green Bay’s chances of making the playoffs may decrease from slim to none.

The low point in Green Bay’s defeat came early in the fourth quarter, when cornerback Tramon Williams shoved back judge Dino Paganelli. He received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty but was not disciplined further.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the playoffs are in January and not November.
