Report: Buffalo Bills Fan Who Fell From Upper Deck Fired From Job

In more ways than one, things went downhill fast for Rob Hopkins.

On Sunday, the Bills fan fell from the upper deck of Ralph Wilson Stadium after his attempt to slide down a railing went terribly wrong. Miraculously, the fan only suffered a shoulder injury after the tumble, but the good news ends there for the 29-year-old.

The very next day the Buffalo Bills announced that he had been banned from the stadium and could face charges. Now, it appears that Hopkins can add his employer to the list of places where he is no longer welcome as WKBW is reporting that he has been fired by advertising firm Eric Mower and Associates in Buffalo.

“EMA is very concerned about Sunday’s incident at the Buffalo Bills’ game and we are relieved that the injured were released from the hospital,” the company said in a release.  “Rob Hopkins is no longer employed by EMA.”
