Rob Gronkowski Says ‘a Time Machine’ Would Be His Ideal Superpower So He Could Easily Travel to Florida

Sometimes, when Rob Gronkowski speaks, it’s best to abandon reason and just enjoy the ride.

Thursday morning was one of those times, as 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich played an interview between Gronkowski and Patriots color commentator Scott Zolak that reached “Yo soy fiesta” levels of Gronk-ness.

Zolak, himself a former New England Patriot, asked the tight end why he chose to go to school at Arizona (hint: he loved the pool parties) and if he has any pregame superstitions, but the unquestioned highlight of the interview came when Gronk was asked what his ideal superpower would be.

Here’s how that question played out (thanks to Deadspin for the transcription):

Zolak: If you could have a superpower, what would that one superpower be?

Gronkowski: Man, like, a time machine.

Zolak: You could be invisible…

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

Gronkowski: Does time machine count?

Zolak: Yeah, let’s do it. We could build a time machine right here.

Gronkowski: Like, if I could just be like, “I want to be in Florida right now,” and then boom, I’m in Florida.

Zolak: That’d be more like a transporter, like…

Gronkowski: Yeah, is that a superpower?

Never change, Gronk. Listen to the full segment by clicking here.

Nick Saban hates magazines, but he does love him some Weather Channel.
