ECHL Alaska Aces Get Tropical With Colorful ‘Hawaii Night’ Jerseys (Photos)

Move over, ugly Christmas sweater jerseys, there’s a new ugly sweater in town.

The ECHL’s Alaska Aces hosted Hawaii Night on Saturday, and the team donned jerseys inspired by Alaska’s ocean-bound neighbor — which happens to have a much more tropical climate. In something along the lines of the Minnesota Wild’s ‘Parrothead’ jersey, the Aces busted out tropical-colored sweaters adorned with colorful hibiscus flowers and hula dancers.

The team auctioned off the sweaters after the game, and one lucky attendee won a trip to Hawaii courtesy of Alaska Airlines.
