Nate Solder Returns to Patriots Practice on Thursday Despite Suffering Concussion Two Straight Weeks

FOXBORO, Mass. — It appears Nate Solder is on track to play this weekend.

The Patriots’ starting left tackle was practicing with the team on Thursday despite suffering a concussion in two straight weeks. Solder was absent at practice on Wednesday. His appearance on Thursday means he must have passed the first concussion test. He has to pass two tests before he’s allowed to play in a game.

Solder missed practice last Wednesday, as well, then participated on Thursday and Friday before playing on Sunday. It appears he’s on the same schedule this week.

Rookie wide receiver Josh Boyce was the only player missing from practice. He injured his ankle this week against the Dolphins. Fellow rookie wideouts Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins were participating.

The practice was held in Gillette Stadium. The players were wearing shells and sweats.
