Vote: Who Was the Top Performer in the Patriots’ Win Over the Ravens?

Those who were hoping for a tight, hotly contested rivalry game Sunday afternoon in Baltimore were sorely mistaken.

The Patriots demolished the defending champion Ravens, building a 17-0 halftime lead and scoring three touchdowns in the final 2:05 of the fourth quarter en route to a 41-7 rout.

LeGarrette Blount paced the Pats on the ground, rushing for a game-high 76 yards and two scores — one of which was followed by a perfect rendition of Ray Lewis’ signature “squirrel dance” — and Julian Edelman led all receivers with seven catches for 77 yards.

Edelman’s seven grabs represented exactly half of Tom Brady‘s completions, as the veteran quarterback needed to throw just 26 passes in the game. The only time Brady  has attempted fewer passes this season was in a Week 8 win over Miami, when he threw 22 times.

On the defensive side, rookie Logan Ryan terrorized Joe Flacco, picking off the Ravens quarterback twice in the contest. Tavon Wilson also notched an interception in the game, taking a pass from backup Tyrod Taylor back 74 yards for the Patriots’ final touchdown of the evening.
