Bat Flies Around Bell Centre, Interrupts Montreal Canadiens-Ottawa Senators Game (Video)

There was an unusual delay of game Saturday night in Montreal when the Canadiens took on the Senators, but neither the coaches nor the players were responsible.

During the first period with the Sens up 1-0, a bat dipped down toward the ice from the rafters of the Bell Centre, interrupting the impending face-off. The winged mammalian took a few laps around the ice before heading toward spectators in the stands, at which point, play on the ice resumed.

The best part of the video might be the announcers from the local TV station describing what’s going on in French. We have no idea what they’re saying or how they’re describing the event, but it sounds very intense.

Check it out in the video below.

Just because you led the Lakers with 20 points and 15 assists in a win over the Utah Jazz Friday night, doesn’t mean Kobe Bryant will follow you on Twitter.
