Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young proved Wednesday night that he’ll fight when provoked, no matter how badly he’s outnumbered.
During the second quarter of Wednesday’s Lakers-Suns game, Young drove to the hoop and was fouled hard by Phoenix rookie Alex Len as he was going in for the layup. Young did not take kindly to the contact, springing up from the hardwood and shoving Len before throwing punches at Goran Dragic amid a sea of white jerseys.
Once order was restored, Len was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and ejected from the game, while Young was tossed for his role in the scuffle.
