The New Hampshire Avalanche defeated Maranacook Area Youth Hockey 1 in the quarterfinals of the 8-under boys bracket of the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1.
Shooter Jack Desruisseaux made life easy for his goaltender Michael Antsey, netting all three of his shots. Antsey held his own, regardless, allowing only one shot to sneak past him as Maranacook shooter Jacob Godbout beat him with a nice backhand in the second round.
